In the process, fasciotens®Pediatric applies a standardised and quantifiable traction to the abdominal wall that can be reproduced at any time by the entire medical staff. The abdominal wall is stretched via a ventrally directed traction, the abdominal cavity is enlarged and thus space is created for the organs.
